Story Of Guru Purnima 2025

According to belief, on the full moon day of the Ashadha month, Maharishi Ved Vyas, the great sage and composer of the Mahabharata and compiler of the Vedas, was born. It is said that in his childhood, Ved Vyas expressed a desire to see God. However, his mother Satyavati initially denied his request. But upon his insistence, she allowed him to go into the forest, advising him to return if he ever missed home.
